Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta has asked the party cadre to gear up for the upcoming ULB elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Gupta said that the BJP government has been working tirelessly to improve the lives of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He cited a number of projects that have been completed under the BJP’s watch, and said that the party is committed to ushering in a new era of peace and normalcy in the region.
Gupta also said that it is important for the party cadre to educate the people about the BJP’s achievements and to foil the attempts of those who are trying to divide the people on the basis of region and religion. He said that the party’s elected representatives have a sacred duty to serve the people and to resolve their problems.
Gupta also raised a serious concern over the problems faced by the general public related to pension. He asked the corporators to provide all necessary assistance to deserving individuals, ensuring that genuine beneficiaries are not left behind when receiving government pension benefits.
Gupta’s call to action comes as the BJP prepares for the upcoming ULB elections. The elections are expected to be held later this year, and the BJP is hoping to retain control of the municipal bodies in Jammu and Kashmir.
