A deligation of elected body of GK Residents welfare society met with the commissioner municipality jammu and highlighted the burning issues of the colony i.e construction of community hall along with public bathrooms, office for senior citizens , public liberary, playground and mini indoor stadium for children.Also raised the issue of stray dogs .Thereafter we met with the chief engineer PHE and thanks him for starting the work of the reservoir and commissiong of new tubewell which was long pending demand of the colony.we also demanded an additional tubewell & laying of more distribution pipes to cater the need of the colony.
After the threadbare discussion the concerned line departments assured us to look into our issues on priority and in a time bound manner. As a consequence of aforesaid the committee members comprising of. Sh Gandeep Pargal, Sh Rajinder khajuria ,Sh Surinder Kapai, Sh Suresh Khajuria, Sh Chander Bakshi, Sh Mohinder Sharma on behalf of GKRWA express its gratitude to these departments for listening us patiently.
