The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has made the following changes to its police department:
Rajeshwar Singh, an IPS officer, will now be the Senior Superintendent of Police for the CID Headquarters in J&K. He will be acting in place of Dawood Ayoub.
Dawood Ayoub, who was the Superintendent of Police for the CID Headquarters in J&K, has been transferred to Handwara to serve as the Superintendent of Police there.
Yougal Kumar, who was the Superintendent of Police for Kupwara and had been holding the additional charge of Superintendent of Police for Handwara, has been relieved of his additional charge.
