The Department of Youth Services & Sports, zone Gandhi Nagar organized Inter-School Zonal Level Competitions U/14 yrs for Girls in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball & Chess at Guru Harkrishan Public School Nanak Nagar, Jammu under the Chairmanship of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu Sh. Sunil Kumar and overall Supervision of Sh. Ram Murti, Zonal Physical Education Officer Gandhi Nagar.
On this occasion, Smt. Rita Popli, Principal, Guru Harkrishan Public School Nanak Nagar, was the Chief Guest. With the co-operation of field staff of zone Gandhi Nagar the said Competitions became successful.
Near about 504 Girls students/players from different Schools of zone Gandhi Nagar was participated in the said competitions.
Speaking on this occasion Chief Guest Smt. Rita Popli, Principal, Guru Harkrishan Public School Nanak Nagar, congratulated all the participants for taking part in sports activities at various levels and counted them the benefits of these sports events.
In the end ZPEO Gandhi Nagar Sh. Ram Murti, proposed words of appreciation and thanks the chief guest for their valuable support and panegyrizing the staff for making their sincere efforts in making the said competitions a great success and appreciated the participants and motivated them to participate in games and sports to maintain their fitness level.
On this ocassion Sh. Mohd Farooq, PEM and Smt. Harpreet Kour, PEM from Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Office Jammu special visited at the venue.
All the deputed PEMs, PETs, REKs, NYC and other staff members of YS&S Department were present there. The competitions were conducted by the panel of experts Smt. Dalbir Kour (PEM), Sh. Rajesh Singh Rana (PEM), Sh. Sukhdev Singh (PEM), Smt. Guminder preet Kour (PEM), Smt. Gurdeepika Kour (PEM), Sh. Varinder Kumar (PEM), Smt. Shamo Devi (PET), Sh. Jagjeet Singh (PET) Sh. Sanjay Khajuria (PET), Sh. Vishal Jamwal (PET), of the Department.
