Jammu Police today on 08.08.2024 arrested an absconder namely Bhupinder Singh, who was involved in the commission of heinous offences of murder (triple murder case of 2021) and drug trafficking for which he is facing trial before the Court of Ld. Ist Addl. Sessions Judge Jammu.
The cases were investigated and challaned before the Hon’ble Court of law i.e
1. Case FIR No’s. 77/2021 U/S 302/307/211/109/201/IPC, 3/25, 4/25A Act, P/S Arnia
2. Case FIR No. 79/2021 U/S 8/21/22/25/27-A/29 NDPS Act of P/S Arnia Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused Bhupinder Singh was involved in case FIR No. 77/2021 of P/S Arnia, wherein, he had committed triple murder of three young persons in broad day light and subsequently his involvement was also surfaced in NDPS trafficking i.e case FIR No. 79/2021, P/S Arnia & 215/2021 of P/S R.S.Pura which were investigated and challaned before the Hon’ble Court against the accused Bhupinder Singh.
During trial accused Bhupinder Singh was granted interim bail by the Court of Ld. Ist Addl. Sessions Judge Jammu on the grounds of illness of accused’s wife.
Lateron, he jumped from interim bail. Thereafter, the Hon’ble court had issued the non-bailable warrant against him.
Acting upon this, a Police team was constituted and deputed to apprehend th said accused person. After making sincere efforts and with the help of technical assistance, the above said accused person was arrested by Arnia Police.
