According to the news reports, the accident occurred on Sunday morning near Nilgrar helipad. The van carrying the CRPF personnel rolled down into the river Sindh. All nine personnel were injured and have been taken to the base camp hospital in Baltal for treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. However, it is believed that the van may have rolled down the hill due to a brake failure.
