Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday recorded 692 fresh Covid cases, taking the number of infected persons to 461947, while two persons died due to the virus in the last 24 hours one in Kashmir division and one in Jammu division, officials said.
Of the new cases, 261 were from the Jammu division and 431 from the Kashmir division of the union territory, Officials said.
There are 4074 active cases in the union territory while the number of recoveries so far has been 453108 officials said.
432 Covid-19 patients recovered today, 223 from Jammu division and 209 from Kashmir division, they said.
