Kulgam Police seized a significant amount of drugs during a routine patrol in Humshalibugh. A suspicious individual carrying a nylon bag was stopped by officers from Yaripora Police Station. The man, identified as Karleep Singh of Bass Panchal, Ramban, was found to be in possession of 4.5 kilograms of poppy straw.
Singh was promptly arrested and taken into custody. A case (FIR No. 29/2024) has been registered at Yaripora Police Station, and a thorough investigation is underway.
