Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Post Manwal foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 05 bovines rescued from vehicle bearing registration number No. JK14J-9178. The driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on road.
05 bovines were rescued and vehicle seized.
In this connection, FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered and further investigation is underway.
