In continuation of its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Sopore Police have arrested one drug peddler and recovered Psychotropic Substances and cash from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Panzalla headed by SHO PS Panzalla Insp. Imtiyaz Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Raqeeb Malik-JKPS, during naka checking at Tri-Junction Vuhlutra-Shutloo Panzalla, apprehended one person namely Basharat Ahmad Beigh S/O Mohammad Afzal Beigh R/O Badam Bagh Sopore.
During the search Police Party recovered 312 tablets of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus and cash ₹10000 from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR No. 20/2025 under relevant sections of Law has been registered at Police Station Panzalla & investigation has been initiated.
Sopore police urges the common masses to give information regarding narcotics or any other crimes to the nearest police establishment or dial 112.
