Indian Army and Police foiled an infiltration bid by terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on 18th October. The operation that began on 17th October resulted in the killing of one terrorist. The search operation is still underway.
Last week, another infiltration bid was foiled in Machhil sector of the district, in which five terrorists were killed.
